Invisible Sun

Invisible SunI don’t have much to say today except that a massive sandstorm blew into Baghdad. Actually, it’s covering most of Iraq.

You know it’s a bad sandstorm when you stare in the direction of sky where the sun should be and it’s not there. Look at this picture. The sun is directly above my left shoulder. You can’t see it, but that’s where it is.

You know it’s a REALLY bad sandstorm when the sand starts to collect on the surface of the lake in clumps. Sorry, no pics of that, but it looks like the fizzy bubbles on your root beer float.

Today’s blog entry title is a tribute to Sting. In the past week, I’ve managed to fit in two songs written by Sting as blog entry titles.
